Union Home Minister Amit Shah deliberately insulted the epoch-making pioneer, world-famous Pandit and world-renowned social reformer Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar by making the above-mentioned inappropriate statement in the Rajya Sabha on December 17, 2024 and played a role in creating a rift in the country. The office bearers of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi in Chimur taluka under Chandrapur district condemned him through a statement.
Meanwhile, the office bearers of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi in Chandrapur and Chimur talukas suspect that the Parbhani case was well-planned.
Because the accused of the desecration of the Constitution statue in Parbhani has been shown to be mentally ill. Therefore, a request has been made to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, through a representation, that the constitutional office bearers and officers of the government-administrative system and other culprits should be searched by the central investigation agency and strict action should be taken against them.

Issue No. 1:
Why was the duty of a watchman not posted by the Municipal Corporation near the statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar in District Parbhani? Action should be taken against this concerned officer first.

Issue No. 2:
The administration and the government should announce what action was taken against a person named Pawar who vandalized the Constitution sculpture on the statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar in Parbhani district on December 10, 2024, and the person who acted with such blind hatred and incited social sentiments should be punished.

Issue No. 3:
On December 11, 2024, in Parbhani district, the Constitution lovers had called for a bandh in the case of the vandalism of the Constitution sculpture. Therefore, it was necessary for the police administration to be ready and fulfill its responsibility. But because the police administration did not fulfill its role properly, riots broke out. The entire responsibility of this lies with the police administration. The sudden outbreak of riots after everything was peaceful was not done by the Constitution lovers, but by those who are against the Constitution. They have created this matter.
However, the police have attacked the settlements of the Ambedkar community night and day, blaming Ambedkar followers and brutally beating Buddhists for no reason. We condemn this.
The government should take action against the concerned police and officers, suspend them and conduct a thorough investigation.

Issue No. 4:
On December 11, 2024, in a riot case in Parbhani, Somnath Suryavanshi was arrested by the police and brutally beaten in police custody and later lodged in jail. He died in that jail. Since this incident is in judicial custody, a thorough investigation should be conducted, the concerned police and police officers should be suspended and a case of culpable homicide should be registered against them.
Somnath Suryavanshi was a law student and had no direct involvement in the riots. Still, he was arrested under the pretext of a combing operation and brutally beaten by a foreign intelligence agency and he died due to that brutal beating.
This has caused a huge blow to his family and the government should provide financial assistance of Rs. 1 crore to his family and employ one person from the family in a government job. This demand is being made through the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi.

Issue No. 5:
While the winter session of the Indian Parliament was underway, Hon. Amit Shah, Home Minister of the Government of India, while presenting his views in the Parliament, addressed Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and said, “Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar!…. It has become a fashion to say this, if you had taken the name of God so many times, you would have been granted heaven for seven lives!” Such a statement was made by Vedesh out of a sense of shame. This statement of his is an insult to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi strongly condemns it.
We also request His Excellency the President to demand the resignation of Hon. Amit Shah as Home Minister and to cancel his Lok Sabha membership.
As per the above, the situation has been detailed through points no. 1 to 5. Taking that situation seriously, the Maharashtra Government, Parbhani District Police Administration and Bharat Ratna, the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, who insulted Hon. Amit Shah, the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi strongly condemns.
On the one hand, marches are taken out to protect Hindus living in Bangladesh. But Hindus and Buddhists living in India are attacked and forced to flee the country. This is the government’s diplomacy. It is necessary to think about this seriously. Also, we believe that the rulers have deliberately done the above with the aim of distracting the people by carrying out such attacks to hide their sins and silence the voices related to EVMs.
Therefore, all these barbs are being strongly condemned by the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi. A statement is being submitted for further action.
