A 17-year-old student died on the spot when a bus belonging to Chimur Agara hit a bike hard at Mauja Bhendala Pati under Police Station Shegaon (Buddha) at 7 o’clock today.
Bus number MH40, BL 3988 under Chimur Agarat was en route from Chimur to Chandrapur. While en route, the bus hit Sujal’s bike hard at Bhendala Chowpatty.
In this collision, Sujal hit the top glass of the bus along with the bike and got dragged into the front wheel of the bus along with the bike. Due to this, he died on the spot.
17-year-old Sujal Raju Salve of Mauja Bhendala was going to the farm on City 100 two-wheeler number MH34, BS9464.
The incident of the accident spread like wind in the area. Because of this, the citizens of the area rushed to the place of the incident and made a huge crowd.
What’s more, the movement of passengers was stopped by protesting against the road. Due to this, Sub Divisional Police Officer of Chimur Division Rakesh Jadhav reached the spot and tried to pacify the crowd and start the traffic on the road.
However, the crowd present decided that they will not pick up the body of Sujal Raju Salve on the highway unless the demands are met from the company. Due to this, the passengers traveling on the said highway became disturbed and desperate and there were long queues on both sides of their vehicles.
As the problem was not resolved under the conditions, the riot control team was called from Chandrapur to prevent any untoward incident.
After the accident, the bus driver went to police station Shegaon (Bu) and surrendered himself.
As the construction of 353 E National Highway is going on at a slow pace and the road construction is not properly planned, many accidents have occurred on this National Highway and many people have lost their lives.
However, it seems that the construction contractor of this national highway is not doing the work with special attention and time.
In this situation, the rulers are seen sleeping. It seems that their sleep is the biggest crisis for the citizens.
