The Jumde family from Pawani, the seat of a taluka under Bhandara district, had come to their relatives’ house at Mauja Piparda in Chimur taluka under Chandrapur district on their bike for a Vastu program.
After the house Vastu program, they were on their way back to Pawani when a serious accident occurred at Mauja Vihirgaon junction in Chimur taluka.
In this accident, Mrs. Riya alias Priya Rakesh Jumde, aged 28, died on the spot, while Mr. Rakesh Tarachand Jumde, aged 37, and Kumar Advit Rakesh Jumde, aged 4, were seriously injured.
A serious and heartbreaking incident has taken place in which a four-wheeler driver from Mouja Vihirgaon, Nilesh Randaye, was unable to reduce the speed of his vehicle and crushed two-wheeler riders into a field at the Mouja Vihirgaon fork on the Chimur-Masal-Vihirgaon-Palasgaon-Piparda to Sindewahi route.
The four-wheeler number is MH33,F5151. How did Nilesh Randaye cause an accident with his four-wheeler? A thorough investigation is required into this matter.
The citizens of the area say that the Chimur police should immediately take the driver, Nilesh Randaye, into custody.
