The Dikshabhumi to Mantralaya Journalist Samvad Yatra started on Sunday (28th) from Dikshabhumi with huge response from journalists across the state.
Guiding the hundreds of journalists present on this occasion, Vasant Munde said, if the rulers are announcing plans for various sections of the society only by looking at the votes, then every journalist in this state is a vote.
He urged the rulers to consider this and solve the problems of the journalists. Meanwhile, the Samvad Yatra started after Pramod Doifode, President of the Ministerial Legislature Correspondents Association, showed the green flag.
The much celebrated state-wide Journalist Dialogue Yatra led by Vasant Munde, state president of Maharashtra State Journalist Association, started on Sunday (July 28, 2024) in Nagpur.
Taking this resolution for the strengthening of democracy, for the right of justice of the journalists, on the occasion of the inauguration of the journalist dialogue yatra from Dikshabhoomi to Mantralaya, State President Vasant Munde, General Secretary Vishwasrao Arote, President of Ministry Legislature Correspondents Association Pramod Doifode, Ex-President Chandan Shirwale, Working President Praveen Sapkale, State Coordinator Santosh Manurkar, A large number of journalists from across the state including Nilesh Somani, Mahesh Panse, Nitin Shinde, Nayan Modhen, Vaibhav Swamy were present.
Speaking further on this occasion, Vasant Munde said, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was a journalist before writing the incident. He published the newspaper Bahiskhrit Bharat. Because of this, it was decided to take out the Journalist Samvad Yatra from the place where the great man Babasaheb took initiation.
Journalist Samvad Yatra will continue by paying homage to the sacred initiation ground of Mahanav Babasaheb. Until now, journalists have been raising the social, educational, economic, administrative and political issues of the common man in the court of government and administration.
They are becoming the voice of the common man. Today it is time for the journalists who have been becoming the voice of the people to raise their voice for themselves.
Because no one is paying attention to the situation that journalists are going through after the corona epidemic. The questions and problems that they are facing.
The rulers and the administration are not even ready to accept that the journalist is a part of the society. The government has some or the other plans for every part of the society. But there are no plans for the journalists.
If journalists are an element of the society, why are there no government plans for them? This is the Samvad Samvad rally to ask this. If the government is announcing various schemes for them after seeing the votes of various constituencies, the government should also consider how big the votes of the journalists are, saying that as the Samvad Yatra progresses, the people will get a lot of support and the state government. Vasant Munde expressed his belief that he will become serious about the question of journalists.
Speaking further, Vasant Munde said that this Samvad Yatra is to bring justice to the journalists, newspaper vendors, owners, other workers of current papers. Finally, Vasant Munde said that journalists of all levels should participate in the Samvad Yatra.
Meanwhile, Vishwasrao Arote said, the concept of press dialogue yatra was not only of the regional president Vasantrao Munde, but he also has leadership and charity. Vasantrao took every office-bearer of the organization into confidence while conducting the dialogue yatra.
Vishwasrao Arote said that this is the reason why the launch of Samvad Yatra today has received an unprecedented response from all levels of journalists across the state. Editor Santosh Manurkar said, today 28th July, the day when the Journalist Samvad Yatra was launched, will be written in golden letters in the history of Maharashtra.
Manurkar said Vasantrao Munde will give good news to journalists from across the state when the yatra will reach Mumbai and Mantralaya.
In the introduction, the regional president Pramod Shende said that after attacking the Samvad Yatra Ministry, he expressed his belief that his regional president Vasantrao Munde will definitely bring something for the journalists.
A large number of journalists from all over the state were present on the occasion of the inauguration of the Journalist Samvad Yatra at Dikshabhumi.

Pramod Doifode, President of Mantralaya Legislature Correspondents Association, Chandan Shirwade flagged off the dialogue rally from Dikshabhumi towards Mumbai by fielding questions from journalists and media personnel of all levels.
The first stop of Samvad Yatra is at Wardha, the holy land of Mahatma Gandhi. While the journalist Samvad rally was going to Sevagram, hundreds of journalists from all over the state participated in the rally with their vehicles, the queue of vehicles in the rally was half to one kilometer.
At this time, the journalist brothers were expressing the belief that this fleet of journalists’ rally and their unity will definitely force the rulers to think.
