A complaint was filed with Thanedar Police Station Warora, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Warora, District Collector Chandrapur, District Superintendent of Police Chandrapur, regarding taking criminal action against Union Home Minister Amit Shah, but they did not register a case in time.

Due to this, a criminal petition has been filed in the First Class Judicial Magistrate’s Court Warora on December 26, 2024 against Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chandrapur District Collector Vinay Gowda, Chandrapur District Superintendent of Police Mumakka Sudarshan, Warora Sub-Divisional Police Officer Dashrath Satam, and Police Inspector of Warora Police Station Ajinkya Tambde.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while speaking in the Rajya Sabha, had made the above statement insulting the creator of the Constitution, the world-renowned social reformer Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.

This has disturbed the peace in the country and hurt the sentiments of the citizens of the country. At the same time, Amit Shah’s above statement is responsible for maintaining the rift in the society and is also enough to deeply plant the seeds of casteism and superstition.

Therefore, constitutional scholar Vinod Kumar Khobragade is of the opinion that criminal action should be taken against Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

He had filed complaints with all the responsible officers under Chandrapur district to file criminal cases against Union Home Minister Amit Shah. When he noticed that all the concerned officers did not take cognizance of his complaints, Vinod Khobragade has filed a criminal petition against all of them with the First Class Judicial Magistrate Warora.
