Sand is said to be a simple and easy business, steal sand and get rich soon!.. This sand theft racket has been going on vigorously in Chimur taluka for the last few years.

However, it is a fact that the MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia, who leads the Chimur assembly constituency, Sub-Divisional Officer Kishore Ghadge, Tehsildar Shridhar Rajmane, Mandal Officer, Talathi are not paying necessary and effective attention to this illegal sand theft business. This is why sand thieves are very popular.

However, the people of Chimur taluka need to know for whose benefit the continuous daily sand mining from the Uma riverbed near the village of Palasgaon (Piparda) in Mauja Palasgaon (Piparda) in Chimur taluka under Chandrapur district and the conscious neglect of the concerned authorities towards illegal sand mining are.

Similarly, who are these sand thieves?, whose people are they?, whose are the highway vehicles used to transport the stolen sand? Whose are the tractors that transport the sand from Uma river to Bharal Nala? Whose is the JCB that lifts the sand? Who are the 20 to 25 laborers who are used to load the sand in the tractor? Why is Chimur tehsil’s tehsildar Shridhar Rajmane not investigating this?

Or why don’t the sub-divisional officer Kishore Ghadge and Tehsildar Shridhar Rajmane, along with the police officers, form a team of mining, forest, and other departments and raid those who are engaged in illegal sand mining? This question has become more serious.

The term public servant includes people’s representatives, i.e. MLAs, sub-divisional officers, Tehsildars, all officers, and all employees.

As per the above term, all public servants should protect the mineral resources of Chimur taluka by putting their duty at stake, that is, they should protect the natural assets of the people.

Because if public servants are dutiful, they can protect all natural and unnatural assets. If public servants are dutiful, they divert their duty according to improper procedures for their own benefit and ignore illegal sand mining. Since the people do not understand this difference, sand thieves and public servant officers are in great trouble.

It cannot be denied that the people’s representatives and officials who give unreasonable reasons mainly neglect public service and the protection of the people’s natural and artificial property. Therefore, the people of Chimur taluka are of the opinion that the MLAs, officials, and employees should carry out their proper duties for public service and the protection of the people’s natural and artificial property.
