Currently Chimur-Kanpa, Chimur-Varora, Chimur-Hinganghat, Chimur-Kora-Girad, Chimur-Sindewahi routes of Chimur Agara buses are in a bad condition and due to potholes on this route, the bus drivers are getting tired.
Bus No. MH31, FC 3690 was plying from Chimur to Chandrapur under Chimur Bus Agar. Chimur to Warora 353 (E) National Highway near Mauja Ralegaon, between the two talukas, ST Corporation’s Chimur Agar bus driver was dodging potholes. While driving, the bus took a sudden turn due to potholes and went to the side of the road.
However, as the bus driver was alert, he stopped the bus on the spot and saved the lives of the passengers.
The work of strengthening the road within the Chimur to Varora National Highway has been going on for the last several years. However, the construction of the said road is being done slowly due to lack of funds. Due to the lack of adequate funds for the work of this road, the strengthening work of this road has stopped in place.
Many places on this national highway have been covered with mud and there are huge potholes.
It has to be said that Central and State Governments are not paying enough attention to strengthen this road in time when there have been many accidents in the Chimur to Warora National Highway due to soil embankment.
As all the routes on which ST buses run under Chimur Agar have become poor, the bus driver in Chimur Agar has to work hard to guide the buses in many ways.
Due to the bad condition of national highways, state highways and other roads, the bus drivers have to work hard while driving.
In order to keep all the drivers, passengers safe and to avoid various road accidents, the governors must be alert and vigilant while working on national highways and state highways.
Under Chimur taluka, the works of national highways and state highways have been interrupted at places.
Isn’t it the policy to give contracts for road works, earn goods and keep quiet?
