Students poisoned by food..  — Incident at Sode Government Ashram School..  — Collector at the scene..

          106 students were admitted to Rural Hospital Dhanora on 20th December due to food poisoning at Government Ashram School Sode.

         Out of them 47 students were referred to Gadchiroli. The remaining students are undergoing treatment at Rural Hospital Dhanora.

          All the students are fine. However, 17 students were infected again today. They were admitted to rural hospital Dhanora between 10 am and 11 am as they had symptoms like nausea, vomiting and stomach pain.

          The total number of affected students now stands at 123. The condition of all the students is stable and they are undergoing treatment under the guidance of Dr.Gajbe, Superintendent of Rural Hospital.

           BJP taluka president Latatai Pungate visited the rural hospital and inquired about the students and asked the doctors to provide proper treatment.

 Food samples have been sent to Nagpur for testing.

 District Collector’s visit..

         Principal Mandalwar informed over the phone that Gadchiroli Collector visited Sode Ashram School and inspected it and asked to take the statements of the superintendent, headmistress, headmaster and all the staff who prepared the kitchen.
