“Let’s take the advice of the last 75 years of all the guardians, elders of the four pillars of democracy i.e. the ‘innocent crawling baby’…
Part 4 of the day before took a brief look at the Justice Board. Today let us discuss the fourth but invisible pillar of democracy, journalism (media). “
“Journalism (media) has a very valuable place in democracy. The definition of the word journalism (media) does not only include electronic and print media, but indirectly poets, writers, literary, film industry, theater (plays), and experts in various disciplines (social sciences). , a lawyer, includes all those working in this field.
When the legislature, executive and judiciary in a democracy deviate from their constitutional and moral duties for any reason, then journalism (media) is created in a democracy according to the above definition to make them aware of this.
“And if all the above three pillars begin to collapse, then the moral responsibility is also on this journalism (media).
The media (journalism) is not the only mirror of the society (community of citizens of the country). It is a pretense that takes a defensive posture from moral duty.
In fact, if there are evil deeds against democracy and the constitution or against the welfare of the society, then trying to prevent them from happening. And it is the moral and constitutional duty of the media to encourage more good deeds if they are happening.
In the implementation of the constitution in a democracy, if the above three responsible bodies (Boards) deviate from their constitutional and moral duties and encourage the tendency to use diplomacy to create dictatorship, then by going to the people, taking the firm side of the common people, going against the occasion of these three boards,…
“Making awareness,
This is the constitutional and moral duty of journalism (media)…
This is why they are created in democracy…
What is more, if the above three bodies are taking care of the constitutional and moral responsibility, if the country and the society are sitting on the path of progress, then the credit goes only and only to this journalism (media)…
And if the opposite situation arises in the country and society, journalism (media) will be responsible for it…
Journalism (media) has such an important place in this democracy.
In the early days of the implementation of the country’s post-independence constitution, this journalism had well-maintained its constitutional and ethical responsibilities. Because this journalism (media) needs skills more than knowledge. It is only then that morals come into play and they get the strength to fulfill their constitutional and moral duties.
But, as the age of freedom in this country increased, diplomacy entered the above three circles and destroyed democracy and the constitution from within. Democracy and constitution have gone to ICU in the period of 2024 today because they have decided to flow in the current created by entering into this journalism (media) too….!
But, today’s journalism (media) is sitting in the lap of the government, hence it has got the cute name “lap media”. Moreover, attempts to get state and central government awards, titles, honours, higher posts, advertisements. etc. succumb to temptation. Those who do not get anything from this. They try to make a living by blackmailing the reporters, informants and corrupt officials. Therefore, we can see today’s journalism has become promiscuous and impotent. Today’s journalism is filling the homes of politicians and nutcases and capitalists.
Journalism today raises the issues of the common people as a reporter, but never pursues them to justice. Neutral journalism is not seen today because every print and electronic media is created by some political parties or capitalists. So today…
Dear Ravishkumar Sir..
Respected Niranjan Takale Sir…
Respected Deepak Sharma sir…
Dear Ashok Wankhede Sir..
Dear Umkant Lakheda Sir..
Dear Nikhil Wagle Sir..
Fearless journalists like these took the side of the people, even though the government fired them from the big channels, they did not leave the common people. That is why our democracy is strong because of them.
Today there is no newspaper in the country, now all “newspapers and advertorials”. Because journalism is over. Let alone bringing the above three bodies which are collapsing to the fold, now because of this collapsing, how can our democracy and constitution be taken out of ICU today is bothering us (people)……..!!!
Everyone should think about this.
