Apart from President Bhadanta Arya Surai Sasai, a criminal petition has been filed to charge 24 other accused.

In the second case, a criminal petition has been filed in the court of Dikshabhoomi Nagpur Court of the present Magistrate First Class Varora for criminal action against the culprits of dereliction of duty for 70 years and the hearing is on 30/07/2024.
The exact allegations leveled by the prosecutor Vinod Kumar Khobragade against the revenue officer, police officer, committee officials, companies are as follows.
1) Due to Dikshabhumi, Nagpur incident, Indian Army, Air Force and Navy have been distracted from their duties, which is a crime under Section 353 of the Indian Penal Code.
2) The revenue officer, inspite of the ruling of the Government, has knowingly committed negligence, irresponsibility, recklessness, willful dereliction of duty as per Section 4 of the Scheduled Caste Atrocities Prevention Act.
3) The accused defaced the national monument Dikshabhumi, Nagpur, an offense under section 3 of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.
4) Creating enmity between two groups.
5) Creating rift between two groups..
6) Acts which are binding on national unity…
7) Disturbance of peace in the country..
8) Hurting the religious sentiments of the Buddhist community…
9) Attempting to publicize..
10) Trying to spread tension from one class to another.
11) Attempting to create riots in two groups, all this has been done by the accused by creating bogus government record 7/12 and Akheev Patrika property card.
Therefore, Vinod Khobragade says that the criminal petition has been filed against him as a responsible and vigilant citizen due to his dereliction of duty.
