While the Shankarpur to Kanpa National Highway is in a bad condition, the construction department and other departments are neglecting the strengthening of this road.
Due to this, traveling on this national highway has to be a tough task for the passengers.
Today, a shocking incident took place when a bus of ST Corporation under Chimur Agarat while traveling from Chimur to Kanpa morning ferry, while avoiding potholes on the road, landed in the field.
Fortunately, there was no loss of life. It has been reported that students were traveling in this bus.
As soon as he got the information about this incident, Dr. Satish Warjukar, the former president of Chandrapur Zilla Parishad and National Congress Party’s organizer of Chimur Assembly Constituency, arrived at the site of the incident and started a protest for the construction of the National Highway from Chimur to Kanpa.
