Mrs. Sundarabai Tulshiram Choudhary, who was working as a laborer to cut garbage on farm in Mauja Savargaon of Chimur Taluka under Chandrapur District (Maharashtra State/Vidarbha), died on the spot after being touched by a live electric wire, while Mrs. Kamalabai Maroti Nannaware, a female laborer, was seriously injured by being touched by a live electric wire. The rural hospital has been shifted to Chimur for primary treatment.
Tarabai Ghugguskar has taken the farm from Srihari Atram on lease, where the women laborers had gone to cut the garbage.
Around 6 am, rural laborers go to work in the fields and come home in the afternoon.
This morning, Tarabai Ghugguskar had taken the dead and serious woman to the leased farm to cut garbage.
However, there is a possibility that a live electric wire may have been placed there to kill the wild pigs. Due to the unexpected tragic incident this morning, the citizens of Mauja Savargaon and the local people are expressing their grief.
Officials of Chimur Police Station along with their associates visited the incident site and conducted panchnama of the incident site and started further investigation.
