Dakhla News India’s Special Divisional Correspondent Ramdas Thuse visited Mauja Kolara in Chimur taluka on Tuesday afternoon and found that the Gram Panchayat office in Kolara was locked for the past three days.
Today at 5.10 pm, on the verbal order of BDO Rajesh Rathod of Chimur Panchayat Samiti, gram sevak Rajesh Thackeray and GP soldier Shatrughan Dadmal broke the lock in the tight security of the police.
A notice has been issued that a special Gram Sabha will be convened on October 27 to solve the problems and information has been given through loudspeakers in the village through the police.
A police riot squad has been deployed in the village and the entire Kolara village has become a police camp.
To prevent any untoward incident from happening at Mauja Kolara under the guidance of Thanedar of Chimur Police Station Manoj Gabhane, Kumak of Chimur Police is keeping a close watch in Kolara village.
Presently, the situation in Mauja Kolara is peaceful and under control.
