“Dhammachakra Pravartan Day” was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Jetavan Buddha Vihar, Malewada in the taluk. On this occasion, a procession (rally) was taken out along the main road of the village with images of Mahakarunik Tathagata Lord Gautam Buddha, Bodhisattva Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Chakraborty Emperor Ashok Mahan.
By accepting the Dhamma of Tathagata Gautama Buddha, who preaches the message of peace, anger can be conquered by love, sin by virtue, greed by charity and falsehood by truth, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar made history in 1956.
Sowing the seeds of Buddha thoughts, chanting Buddham Sharannam Gachami, Dhammam Sharannam Gachami, Sangham Sharannam Gachami, taking the plaque of good thoughts of great men in one hand and a candle in the other hand, they went out shouting and the procession concluded in the courtyard of the vihara.
After that Dr. The statues of Babasaheb Ambedkar and Tathagata Lord Gautam Buddha were saluted by the dignitaries by offering wreaths and mass Buddha Vandana was performed.

On this occasion, the result of “All India Dhamma Knowledge Examination – 2023” was announced. Ms. Lakshmi Bhaskar Narule, who stood first in the junior group and Mr. Mahesh Tulsiram Nannaware, who stood first in the senior group, received shawls from Shakuntala Prakash Meshram and dignitaries. Bh. Buddha and Babasaheb were felicitated by gifting books.
Ayu Satyafulbai Chavan, Janvi Gajbhiye, Rohit Shende, Prajwal Shende were felicitated with books for getting special marks in the examination.
Ashiq Ramteke introduced and moderated the program while Vinod Borkar gave the vote of thanks.
The program was concluded after a social dinner, in which the youth made a significant contribution. All Buddhists and villagers were present on the occasion.
