A newborn infant was found dead in a drain at Mauja Boddha in Chimur taluka under Chandrapur district on November 1. Bhisi police registered a case according to the route and began to take confidential information.
After the argument, the people of Boddha village had no idea that the local people might have thrown the infant into the drain.

Under the guidance of senior police officers, Thanedar Pramod Raut of Bhisi Police Station formed a team of Sub-Inspector Sachin Jangam, Bit Jamadar Amol Navghare and other colleagues to speed up the investigation of the infant death case taken.
As the mother who gave birth to the newborn was a minor, the Bhisi police took her into confidence and narrated the entire sequence of events.
Based on the information of the minor’s mother, the accused Mohit Mohanlal Nagose aged 21 years was arrested by the BHI police and a case was registered against him under sections 376, PESCO and other sections.
The process of medical examination has been started for both those who gave birth and killed the infant.
