During the tenure of Chimur Assembly Constituency MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia, Magova Lia Asata, for the last 7 years, illegal mining and sand mining having minor minerals has been going on in full swing in Chimur taluka.

However, the local government and administrative system has still not been able to control the illegal and rampant sand and mud mining.

Sand and gravel are used for minor mineral excavation in the construction of government buildings and road strengthening. Generally, sand and gravel are used in both construction works under illegal excavation. However, sand and gravel are also used in supporting other works and constructions.

It is a kind of duty-free wonder of mental balance that thieves doing illegal mining are not seen at all by all the responsible systems related to illegal mining of minor minerals.

MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia has been found guilty of illegal excavation by the government system and administrative system.

MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia is an MLA or a responsible public representative and there are his workers in the villages. Or because of the people doing illegal excavations, their workers would be found in their slums, but he does not deny it.

That means MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia’s act of assuming that he can get the latest news regarding illegal mining immediately is wrong.

Indeed, under the Chimur taluka, the revenue department, police department and mining department collectively perform the duties of wandering wanderers. Or even the roadmen are not seen doing illegal excavations. Or, illegal excavations are seen happening unnoticed by the wanderers. “But, where do these wandering wanderers roam in their name and what else do they do? Do?Hetch is not the way.

Under Chimur Tehsil office, Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, Divisional Officer, Talathi, Kotwal, and Sarpanch, Deputy Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat member, Gram Sevak under Panchayat Samiti, Police Officer under Police Department, Bit Chief Police, Police Patil, Asha Vidhichi Mothi Pali Duties, Astana, are seen doing illegal excavations. What should I say if this is not the case?

MLAs are public representatives i.e. public servants or are the chief controllers of all the taluka level committees as per their duty and the workers under each committee are given the necessary information. Hence, it is clear that stopping illegal mining is not a difficult or big task for them.

Apart from this, the in-charge Sub Collector and Sub-Divisional Officer are also on duty in Chimur office. The entire machinery of Chimur taluka is also under their jurisdiction.

It should be noted that the revenue of crores of rupees due to illegal mining of minor minerals has adverse consequences for the Gram Panchayat development work of Budvilya Jat Asel and Chimur talukas and the development of the citizens under them.

Is it not the responsibility of the public representatives along with the concerned officers and employees to stop illegal mining of minor minerals?

If we seriously think about the “duty, role and negligence” regarding minor mineral exploration, one thing can be seen: dereliction of duty, culpability in duty, or negligence? Or who will speak or reveal about this?
