Denying the place of worship of Buddhist brothers in Gadgaon, the Tahsildar confiscated the Dhamma flag and the statue of Tathagata Gautam Buddha under police protection…. — In the Mumbai High Court  PIL case filed in the Nagpur bench, what form will it take? — Partisan, “or, legal action? — Disturbing and unjust cases under the unequal system in India, “Why only in the case of Tathagata Gautam Buddha and the great man of the era Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar?

Chimur Tahsildar Shridhar Rajmane confiscated the Dhamma flag and the idol of Tathagata Gautam Buddha from the encroached land, which is the place of worship of Buddhist brothers in Mouja Gadgaon, under strict police protection and took possession of the said land today.

Tathagata Gautam Buddha has given the message of character enrichment, liberation from all vices, peace along with compassion, and equality, brotherhood, freedom and equal justice to all citizens of the world including India through his unprecedented deep experience through Bodhi.

The whole world looks at India as the country of Tathagata Gautam Buddha with devotion, respect and honor. In the same country, India, the statue of Tathagata Gautam Buddha and his Dhamma flag do not get a place. This reality has been sadly describing the violent events of the unequal system in India for years, which is vividly felt from today’s events in Mouja Gadgaon in Chimur taluka under Chandrapur district.

Similarly, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, who through the Indian Constitution gave all the OBCs, ACs, STs, minorities, VJs and other citizens of this country the right to live with dignity and respect, gave them the important right to vote, gave them the right to live with equality-fraternity-justice-freedom, gave them the right to speak-write-save money, gave them the right to free treatment, gave them the right to drink clean water, gave them the right to get free education, gave them the right to become MPs-MLAs and other people’s representatives, gave them the right to become officers and employees, gave them the right to live anywhere in the country, gave them the right to live according to freedom of expression, gave them the right to trade, gave them the right to protect themselves and others, gave them the right to progress, what should we say about the hatred of the same Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar by the majority of the citizens of the Indian society even after 78 years of independence?

The government and administration of India, on whose authority the laws are based, have failed to understand the Tathagata Gautam Buddha and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. That is why the citizens of India are still trapped in the abyss of caste discrimination and hatred. A refreshing example of this is the case of “removing the statue and Dhamma flag of Tathagata Gautam Buddha” in Mouja Gadgaon in Chimur taluka! ..

Looking at ancient and medieval history, the entire land of India belongs to the Tathagata Gautam Buddha and looking at the present time, it belongs to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Who has given the right to protect and preserve that land to the government and administration through the Indian Constitution.

This does not mean that the Tathagata Gautam Buddha, who is called the first great enlightener in the world, should not have a place to install his idol and hoist the Dhamma flag in his own land of India. Similarly, he should not have a place to hold programs according to his great philosophy.

At the same time, the same Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, who is called the fourth greatest enlightener in the world and who was recognized by the world as a world-famous savior, who raised the honor and respect of India in the world through his great work, should be insulted by Indian citizens on his own land, such a shameful and sad incident cannot happen.

While humiliating and inappropriate incidents regarding Tathagata Gautam Buddha and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar are happening repeatedly in India, what should be said about their behavior that the Central Government and the State Governments of the country are not taking a good and decisive role in this regard?

The state of Maharashtra is in India and the district of Chandrapur is in Maharashtra. The district of Chandrapur is in Chimur taluka and the district of Gadgaon is in Gadgaon.

The Buddhist brothers of this village have applied to the Sub-Divisional Officer Chimur and Tehsildar Chimur in the year 2023 to get ownership of the land for installing the idol of Tathagata Gautam Buddha and erecting the Dhamma flag and organizing programs for the welfare of all citizens under social responsibility.

However, the Sub-Divisional Officer Chimur and Tehsildar Chimur did not pay any attention to the application of the Buddhist brothers of Gadgaon. This means that they did not give importance to the said application for legal and statutory action.

However, as soon as the applications of the opponents of the Mauja Gadgaon regarding the removal of the statue of Tathagata Gautam Buddha and the Dhamma flag were received, the action to remove the statue of Tathagata Gautam Buddha and the Dhamma flag is being taken this morning itself in accordance with those applications. What is the duty of Tehsildar Shridhar Rajmane regarding the action in this regard? Whether he will say this conveniently or legally, the Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court will see!

The Mouja Gadgaon case has been filed in the Nagpur bench by Advocate Inamul Haq through a PIL (Public Interest Litigation). It was learned that the first formal hearing was held on it yesterday. Since the Mouja Gadgaon case has now been filed in the court, the matter will now take time.

A public interest litigation is a legal process that allows citizens and organizations to file petitions in the court to resolve matters of public concern.

Similarly, a public interest litigation is being filed in the High Court to protect public rights, promote general welfare and enforce the rights of people who are unable to go to court.

The verdict in the Mouja Gadgaon case, whichever side it is, will definitely have a serious and divisive impact on the local citizens there.

Therefore, it is quite clear that if the same case had been formally handled by Sub-Divisional Officer Kishore Ghadge and Tehsildar Shridhar Rajmane, it would have been fair.

Although the incident of removing the statue of Tathagata Gautam Buddha and the Dhamma flag under police protection in Mouja Gadgaon today, December 3, 2024, seems legal, the seriousness of this matter is evident in the political pressure mechanism and the stench of unnatural action is emanating.

Otherwise, the action to remove other places of worship from the encroached site would have been taken by Sub-Divisional Officer Kishore Ghadge and Tehsildar Shridhar Rajmane!..

Due to this, whether the action of Tehsildar Shridhar Rajmane to remove the statue of Tathagata Gautam Buddha and the Dhamma flag is biased or legal will come to light later!

But, the right of the Buddhist community to preserve their own culture and thoughts is repeatedly denied by the Indian government and administrative system, isn’t this injustice?
