A shocking incident has taken place in Assam’s Golaghat district on Wednesday morning when a passenger bus and a truck collided, killing 12 people including five women and a minor child.
Along with this, 25 people have been injured. The information of this accident spread like wind across the country. This incident took place at Dergaon on National Highway 37 at 5 in the morning.
A bus full of passengers was going from Golaghat towards Tinsukia. A coal truck coming in the opposite direction collided head-on. The truck and the bus driver were killed in the accident.
The injured have been admitted to Dergaon Civil Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the seriously injured have been admitted to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH) for treatment.
