In the winter session held in the month of December, the central government approved bills under three laws in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The bills under these three laws have been stamped by the President Draupadi Murmu.
Due to this, the said bill has been converted into a law. After it was pointed out that the new law implemented for drivers is oppressive, drivers and driver-owners across the country have called a bandh regarding the transport services and created a traffic jam.
Due to the closure of transport and other transport systems across the country, all office bearers and members of the Chimur Taluka Driver-Owner Association have closed the communication service within Chimur Taluka and outside Chimur Taluka.
Along with this, a protest march was held today from Martyr’s Memorial to Deputy Collector’s office Chimur to repeal this oppressive law.
After the protest march, a memorandum was sent to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Transport Minister Central Government, State Government through Sub-Divisional Officers and the demand to repeal the said Act was taken.
Due to the stoppage of transport services by the drivers of Chimur taluka and all over the country, the capitalists, other small businessmen and the central government have been in a lot of trouble.
