The appointments of officials are based on impeccable character and the principle of equal justice. Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha MP Dr. Namdevrao Kirsan gave a stern warning to the officials of Chimur assembly constituency that they should not discriminate between citizens and administrative duties while performing their duties.
In an administrative meeting held on February 27 at the Nagar Panchayat Bhavan in Bhisi, he warned the officials and employees of Chimur assembly constituency and clearly stated that they should not accept Mandalikatva from anyone and if they want to accept Mandalikatva, they cannot complete the work according to the principle of equal justice for citizens. Similarly, they cannot perform their own duties according to the principle of impeccable knowledge.
At the same time, he clarified that if you want to perform your duties without discrimination within the Mandal, you should get your transfer from Chimur taluka or Chimur assembly constituency.
Overall, when MP Dr. Namdevrao Kirsan experienced and examined the working methods of the officers and employees of Chimur assembly constituency, he must have found that the working methods of the officers and employees were not in accordance with the democratic principles.
That is why MP Dr. Namdevrao Kirsan, while guiding the administrative meeting, said, “The officials of Chimur taluka had to be reminded that there is democracy in the country, not dictatorship. What could be more regrettable than bringing such a serious disgrace on the officials of Chimur taluka who consciously committed discriminatory negligence in their duties?
It is clear from his sensitive and poignant statement that MP Dr. Namdevrao Kirsan is saddened and relieved that the officials and employees of Chimur assembly constituency behave as if they are the servants of MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia while performing any duty while the democratic process is in progress.
It has become a common practice that the officials under Chimur taluka give time to the workers of MLAs to complete their work on time and ignore their improper work.
However, what other surprise can there be that they are reminded that there is not enough manpower in the office to complete the work of the common people on time? Similarly, not completing the office work of citizens on time is not straightforward discrimination against the citizens of Chimur assembly constituency. What?
At the same time, isn’t the officials’ indifference to the rampant illegal business in Chimur taluka part of their role as district officials? And who will pay attention to illegal business!…
Whatever the reason, MP Dr. Namdev Kirsan has to explain the definition of Mandalikatva to the officials of Chimur assembly constituency and remind them of democracy, like, “What can be embarrassing for the officials?”
MP Dr. Namdevrao Kirsan, former president of Chandrapur Zilla Parishad and former leader of the opposition and senior office bearer of the Congress party Dr. Satish Warjukar, Chimur Taluka President of the Congress party Dr. Vijay Gawande, Upper District Collector Kishore Ghadge, Tehsildar Shridhar Rajmane, Bhisi Additional Tehsildar Patil, Thanedar Chande of Bhisi Police Station, Assistant Thanedar Wagh, Assistant Thanedar Mukesh Dhoble, Engineer Karekar, Congress office bearer Sachin Gadewar and other dignitaries and administrative officials were present in the meeting held at Bhisi Administrative Building.
